What things do I need to add in the new baby gift baskets?

I am planning to gift a cute basket to my friend. She is becoming a mother for the first time. I want to fill this basket with all essential baby care products and I am also going to gift her a small diaper cake. So I want to know how much it will cost me? Also tell me what things I need to add in the new baby gift baskets?

I think it is a great idea to opt for the gift basket for your friend. This is a cool out of the box way to put the gifts together in a basket. Make sure that it is filled with various baby necessities. Make it a cute collection of all kinds of interesting and necessary items for both mom and baby. Here are certain things that must be added to the basket:

Make sure that you select a basket that can be put to use by the mommy after the goodies are removed.

1. Collect all of the treasures that you like. Don't restrict your thought to those traditional baby gifts like diapers, clothes and blankets. Buy a small bag of diapers and one small blanket. Think deeply about the little necessities babies need. You can include items such as bottle brushes, pacifiers, lotions, and comb, extra nipples, and digital thermometers.

2. Don't forget to include the mom. Consider tucking in a cup that says "Mom". Put a couple of herbal tea bags. Roll up a copy of a parenting tips magazine. You might also consider putting in a CD of the mother’s favorite music.

3. Make creative use of parchment paper and make the new mom a gift certificate. Offer her an afternoon of babysitting or an invitation to lunch when she can leave the new baby. Use imagination to show her that you are a caring friend or relative.

Set the stuffed animal in the middle of basket. Take the diapers out of packaging and arrange it into a fan design behind the stuffed animal. Distribute all other goodies around the basket. Add ribbons and bows.
