Baby at 20 weeks, fetal development!

How big is the baby at 20 weeks of pregnancy? I need to the weight the baby is supposed to touch at 20 weeks. It is important as I need to that the development of the child is going smoothly. What do you just it should be. Where do I check it from? What are the reasons for the baby’s weight not being what it should actually be? Could that be a danger to the child and the mother? Has the weight of the child got to increase by ever week or month?

Congratulations! You're halfway there! And in case you don't believe 20 weeks is a milestone worth celebrating. Your baby weight is now up to 10 ounces and the baby measures about 25 cms total length, about 9.8 inches. Your baby can hear sounds by now, your voice, heart and your stomach growling, as well as sounds outside your body. It will cover its ears with its hands if a loud sound is made near you, and it may even become startled and "jump." The baby is moving often, too twisting, turning, wiggling, punching and kicking. If you don’t want an underweight baby or unsafe pregnancy then make sure you're getting enough iron. Your baby needs it to make red blood cells, among other things. Babies born to mothers who are low in iron tend to be small. A good iron level also helps reduce bleeding at the birth, it’s almost impossible to get too much from food alone, as long as you're not overeating. Iron-rich foods include lean red meat, poultry, fish, lentils, spinach, green leafy vegetables and iron-fortified cereals.
