baby crawling care

my baby has just learned to crawl and I m so excited about his new entertaining development but want to know various ways I should take to make him crawl in a healthy way...I will be leaving him on the floor to enjoy his moves and to learn it properly.....though I have removed all sharp edged furnishings from the area for his safety...Is there any other measures which I should take care of for his safe health...It's very enjoying and cherished moment for me and I want to enjoy this with my kid's safe health...thank u.. :)

Crawling is a great phase in a child's life. A child feels like he has achieved great success when he start crawling and later when he walks. Crawling makes them feel free and as if they have access to all the things in the house, on their own. It is a good thing that you have removed sharp edged furniture but also make sure you lock all low drawers and cupboards which he may open and enter. Once a baby starts crawling he also wants to hold on to things and learn to stand up so keep away all breakable items like vases, from center tables or low lying tables and shelves. Also make sure you have all door mats cleaned at least once a week. Babies tend to put door mats in their mouth when they are crawling on the floor. Babies are very inquisitive and would always want to know whats outside the door hence put a door barrier on the front door so the baby cannot go out when the door is open and for the rest of doors inside the house, either keep them open or closed.

Enjoy every moment of your baby's growing phase and see how in no time he will switch from crawling to walking. Happy Parenting!
