Any book that can tell me about Christmas history?

I have a six year old son who is very naughty and always goes on asking me questions that are way below his age. He wants to be ahead of his schoolmates in this respect and always wants to outshine them. This time when Christmas was arriving, he asked me a very intelligent question that why was Christmas celebrated on 25th December and what was so special about the particular day that we celebrate it on such a grand scale. Since I don't have much knowledge on this, can somebody tell me is there any book that gives a good account of the Christmas history?

It is so natural for kids to ask such intelligent questions beyond their age, but then kids are by their very natural, very curious and will always want to know about everything that takes place around him to suit their needs. Even I have a seven year old daughter who asked the question, so I got him a perfect book full of pictures and all about the history of Christmas called the Just say Noel: A History of Christmas from the Nativity to the Nineties or you can buy Christmas: A Candid History by Bruce David Forbes that has in it a brief sketch of the history of Christmas its celebrations and the traditions associated with it. You can make it simple to your child by reading it to them and explaining the meaning of the difficult parts making it fun for them. It was a pleasure for me to make this Christmas enlightening for you.
