Building dad And daughter relations!

How is it feasible to build dad and daughter relations. I am father of twin daughters. My wife is about to complete her 9 months. Soon they will be out. It is easier for mothers to handle their daughters. I have a couple of friends who are not able to understand what their relationship is with their daughter. One friend’s daughter answers him in syllables. I mean I don’t want that with my children. I want to know to know how I can build up the relationship, and have them feel like they can talk to me whenever and about anything. I would be understanding and I would listen to whatever they have to say, yet I don’t want them to be spoilt.

First of all the root or foundation should be strong to build up a building or bonding of strong relationship. Relationship is totally based on the trust. It cannot be one sided. You have to trust each other and always truthful towards each other. There are some expectations of you from your daughters as well as your daughters also expect from you. Open communication is very essential between you and your daughters. Share your experience of life from your daughters. This will help to make them a good person and a good citizen. If she will face any problem in studies give her your guidance. Play with her when you are free. Give her your time so that she understands you and feel very friendly to share her experiences. Don’t treat only as a father become a friend, a teacher, a guide for her. No one is perfect always kept it in your mind so in every fault of her never scold her or punish her but try to accept her flaws and teach her. If you follow these tips you will be able to build a strong father-daughter equation.
