What are the things that I should know before buying baby bed?

My sister is pregnant and I want to gift her baby bed as I think it will be very useful to her after the baby will born. I want to know what are the things that I need to keep in mind before buying the baby bed. I don’t know whether she is going to give birth to baby boy or baby girl so what do you think should be the color of the baby bed? Can you tell me some other options of gifting.

A baby crib is an ultimate gift for your pregnant sister. She will definitely love it. Yes of course a baby bed is very useful.

· Safety of the little one sleeping inside the baby bed is utmost important. The baby bed need not be expensive; just make sure it needs to be safe. Beware of the products that have been ban.

· The size of the baby bed needs to be good enough for the baby to sleep in the baby bed for at least sleep in for her first 4-5 years.

· Comfort of the baby bed, with comfort you also need to consider the bedding that you purchase.

· Adjustable and soft mattress with cotton covers and sheets. Bumper guards if the baby bed to protect the baby from hurting herself.

· Other requirements such as necessary attachments and attachable toys to keep your baby entertained.

· Make sure you do not buy anything that can harm the baby; for example sheets made up of fur or sheep skin need not be used as it attracts a lot of dust and bacteria, increasing the chances of infections.

Besides a baby bed you can also gift your sister baby pram, baby stroller or a baby buggy.
