What are the cures for Infant cold?

My child is three years old and has a sweet tooth. So at times whatever chocolate is kept in the fridge, she manages to open and have most of them. When i give her hot milk with chocolate mixed in it to drink she will make faces and refuse to drink it, but if you give her anything chilled like a strawberry drink or Lemon drink she will gulp it down without any complaints and this has resulted her in getting severe cold. What is the way to cure this cold? I want her to get well soon!

Infant cold is a very common among the 3 to 4 years old kids.Infant cold is a result of viral infection in the respiratory tract. It directlyaffects the nose and throat of a child. Chest and nose congestion are theprimary signs of infant cold.

Babies of aged between 3 to 4 years areespecially susceptible to the common cold. This is due to the immature immunesystem. Plenty of fluids and keeping the air moist are the treatments to cureinfant cold. There are some complications when it becomes severe like earinfection, wheezing and sinusitis.

Though you are a responsible mother so thisis your job to provide the proper treatment to your baby to reduce the risks ofsuch complications. You can give him infant Tylenol.

One of the most importantthings you can do to minimize your infant's exposure is to simply wash your baby’shands with antiseptic soap for at least 3 minutes. You can also use handsanitizers to clean your baby’s hand.
