Cystic hygroma, worse pregnancy case scenario!

This must be the most revolting thing I have seen; it is the fetal cystic hygroma. I could not bear to read about it. Please tell me what this disease is all about. What are the causes of having a cystic hygroma? What does the baby go through? Does the baby live or die? Can a baby be born with this disease? Is it even curable or does the baby live with it throughout. Why does it happen, and how can it be prevented? Is it a fetal development gone bad? What do doctors say about this, I wonder of this is even possible?

Fetal cystic hygroma is a syndrome in the posterior triangle of neck which can be diagnosed at the first trimester of pregnancy. It is a type of lymphangioma. It is a large cyst filled with watery fluid. It is associated with Turner’s syndrome. Nothing goes wrong with your baby if he is suffering from this syndrome. The chances of cystic pregnancy are not more than 1%. It is not actually a disease but it indicates a major underlying problem like Cowchock Wapner Kurtz syndrome, which is a lethal or deadly syndrome. Just keep with your God. Well it’s a non-immune disease. It usually occurs in adults but sometimes fetus can also suffer from this syndrome, it can be due to embryonic lymphatic tissue. It also shows the chromosomal problem or birth defect. It cannot be cured so you are only depends on your doctor. Doctor can suggest you to go for some tests like CT scan, ultrasound or chest x-ray. It can be treated by chemotherapy.
