How early can you tell if you are pregnant?

My wife is pregnant and we came to know about it in this morning when we visited the doctor for her regular check-up. My all friends and relatives are waiting for me to become dad and I am very much excited to tell them this important news. But I don’t want to tell it normally, I want to organize a party than want to tell it to everyone with some sweets and celebration. So tell me that how early can you tell if you are pregnant?

It am sure that if it's normal than in that caseyour next ovulation should be on the 24th, and your fertility should begin around the 21st.I would wait until your missed period to test. But if you are curious what your chances of being pregnant from the last time you had sex try this website epigee.org. Early signs would be tender breast, bloody discharge (implatation bleeding), fatigue and missed period. if you want to know, rule of thumb is 14 days after you had last sex the hormone levels would be high enough to be detected by a home pregnancy test. The soonest you can get a + test is 14 days after conception. I would say wait 3 weeks after sex to test because there is a 2 week conception date & sperm live in the vagina for 5-7 days.
