What are some educational computer games for kids?

my kids love to play game on my laptop and they are 7 year and 9 year old. i really want them to spend more time in study but also can not break their heart and can not scold them as i love my kids alot. so i want to buy some good educational games by which my kids will able to play games and will lurn something while playing. so please list some good educational computer games for kids?

There are so many educational computer games for kids that you can choose from. I have myself played so many of them.

There are several games that i can suggest you. Like, Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree, ClickN READ Phonics - Beginning Reading, ClickN SPELL - Beginning Spelling, Carmen Sandiego series, The ClueFinders, Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training (a series of two games), EcoQuest (a series of two games), GCompris (GPL), Genomics Digital Lab, Gizmos & Gadgets, History of Biology game, Immune Attack, Inanimate Alice, InLiving, I.M. Meen, JumpStart, Ko's Journey, Learnalot, Math Blaster, Number Munchers, Oregon Trail, PlaceSpotting, Quest Atlantis, Reader Rabbit, The Magic School Bus series, Treasures of the Deep, Tuxmath (GPL), Storybook Weaver, Urban Jungle, Zoombinis, WolfQuest etc.
