This is because falling TVs have been responsible for serious injuries and even death in certain cases. According to the figures of Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, there have been 11 cases of injuries from falling televisions in their hospital in a short period of just four months and five out of which resulted in death.

The most recent victim of falling TV set was Lizzette, a 3 year old girl who wanted to retrieve a toy lying on the TV set and suddenly it came all over her splitting her skull, ultimately killing her. Her furious dad broke that TV in anger but to no use.

As the Televisions are usually, front heavy, so even a slightest pull can make them fall. Therefore, parents must learn that these kinds of injuries are completely avoidable with just a little vigilance and proper installation of the TV set.
