Many parents of twins think that if one of the infants is suffering from colic, then they should separated them if they share a common room.

However, Susan Bartell a Licensed Psychologist does not support the view. She says that twins are susceptible at adjusting to each other's sounds moreover 'a move could be more disturbing than crying'.
Elaborating further, she says,
'You can always reevaluate at any time. If you find that the crying is beginning to cause your other baby to have interrupted sleep, you can always separate them at that point'.
