Japanese parents Sport a Cool Attitude towards Kids
An interesting survey conducted by Benesse Corp last week revealed that most of the Japanese parents want their kids to grow up into adults who are good to others, while those in Korea and China laid emphasis on their kids being academic achievers.
Topmost choice among Japanese parents was "One who takes good care of family 'rest of the choices made by them were "One who does not cause trouble to others," and "one who values friends.
Another interesting fact that surfaced with this survey was that, Japanese parents do not bother to pressurize their kids academically. They were least interested in sending their kids to prestigious schools. Also they were chilled out about the lifestyle that their kids lead, watching TV and sleeping didn't bother them.
I think now a survey should be conducted among kids pertaining to popularity of parents...and no prize for guessing that without any doubts Japanese parents will be the hottest among kids.
