Kids inherit the liking for high-protein foods from parents

If you want your kids to develop a taste for high protein diet including fish and meat, then it's important that you love having these food. This is because the liking towards these food products is hereditary while an inclination for fruits and vegetables develops over time owing to various external factors.

This is according to a study conducted by scientists from the charity Cancer Research UK. The study showed that high protein foods have a higher "heritability factor" in comparison to other fruits and vegetables.

Other such foods were beef, lamb, pork, chicken, bacon, fried fish, white fish and oily fish. The factors that influence kids' liking or disliking fruits and vegetables is still unknown.
