So it's better to introduce a dog to your family only when your baby has reached the agr of 5. Small kids end up annoying dogs unknowingly and this can lead to a number of mishaps.

And when you go ahead to buy a dog try and avoid breeds like German Shepherds and Dobermans, for they are more likely to bite children than other breeds.

But if you already have a dog at your place then make sure you don't leave it alone with your toddler at any cost and take special attention to the two when they are together even in your presence.
