Tracking your newborn's sleep
Even if babies cannot speak, they have a subtle way of expressing themselves through their behavioral cues. Their early days revolved around the patterns of sleeping, feeding and elimination. Sleeping forms the integral form of their life especially during the early part of life.
Certain advices are now considered as nonsense, which were previously given to the parents for providing a comfortable sleep to their kido. Those were:
1. Make babies stay awake during the day so that they may sleep well at nights.
2. Have the newborns sleep in a noisy room so that they may learn to sleep through anything.
3. If the newborn won't sleep, drive him round in a car.
Recent sound advices about sleeping:
1. Do not wake a sleeping baby. Moreover, if attention is paid in assisting the development of their own rhythms, babies will sleep through the night by 4 months.
2. Babies too require a quite and peaceful sleeping environment as we do.
3. Sleeplessness of babies arises due to exhaustion so instead of driving them, the best way is to sit next to her and speak while feeding.
