I thought dads must be happy with the two weeks paternity leaves that they were given. But this survey brought out a different story altogether. The results showed that working fathers consider the time spent with their babies as waste. Spending time with their babies will kill their career and is not financially viable.

And because of this very fact they didn't want the paternity leave. Do some of hem wanted o spend time with the new born but didn't just to avoid the financial losses and the career break.
On the other hand women wanted more maternity leave despite the fact that even they work. And they were also unhappy for the time their partners spent with their babies.
I guess the government should revise its plans and add even the paternity leave into mother's leave.
