Tickling and smiling goes hand in hand but at times you may notice that when you tickle your baby, she may not give you the expected response. While after sometimes, she begins to crack her smile.

A study has postulated that baby smile's not because of the tickling sensation but cuz of the happiness she's getting by interacting with you. It further said that when a baby is around two months old, it is from here that she starts experiencing the tickling sensation.

But make sure you don't overdo it as Tiffany Field, a Ph.D., director of the Touch Research Institutes says,

'It's like a roller coaster: Rousing stimulation can be okay for a minute or two, but if your child has had enough- she's squirming and struggling to get away - it's time to stop'.
