Need Guidance for the family budget planning in US cities

After the recession it has been very difficult for us to maintain the family budget in Houston.And thus need your help friends on planning it in a low cost budget of spending on basic needs of the family. I want an effective budget plan which include the needs and the fun part of expenditure both with a proper division of how much one should spend in a week on a particular item of the household.

You know that is something your family and you have to decide. It is a very bad time and you should have the support of your family and you guys should sit together and discuss it. What may be appropriate for someone else may not be appropriate to you right? So I think that you should plan out something, which could help you talk to your family, especially when you have kids to explain to them what the recession is all about. What they must and must not do. I could give you templates and certain ideas as to know junk food. The daily necessities would obviously be milk or juices, then the vegetables and the meat.
