There is no age limit for a baby to start speaking words like mamamama and dadada. Some baby starts babling at age of 5 months some starts speaking words at the age of 9 to 10 months, but this is not always true. You can give him speech therapy under a doctor consultancy.Take some pictures in front of him and speak continuously what is in the photograph while pointing on it.He might be not speak it properly but after sometime he will be able to speak in well manner. It is also depend on environment and brain development. The more you interact with your baby the more would be the chances of speaking.Don't compare your baby with another one because there are different level and different speed of learning in every child. And there is a another big fact that boys starts speaking late than girls and little slower than girls. They starts speaking meaningful words and sentences in around 2 to 3 years.Speak in front of him very loudly and clearly, that inspires him to speak. He will definitely respond you.
