Halloween craft decorations for the house!

I want to know what kinds of Halloween craft a child can sit and make on his own? I would be their for guidance. Apart from paper made pumpkins, what can a 10 year old sit and make. We were going to paint some pumpkins to. They are going to have scary masks painted on them. Could you suggest some more items? I could teach him to make paper made lanterns. He wants to be a grim reaper, so we are going to make the grim reapers scythe with cardboard and foil and paint. We are going to make paper bats. What other decorations can be there?
