Halloween treats for kids

The one day a parent loves, since it is the day which makes their children the happiest, scariest, funniest, cutest looking children all over. This is my kids and my first Halloween, because from where I came from we did not have Halloween. So my child is pretty excited as I am too. I want a list of the Halloween treats for kids to give around the neighbor. What is it that I should have? I actually know how to make chocolates, so should I make chocolates and just give that. Is there any special treat that children expect? What exactly happens at Halloween, does my kid get treats from me too or only from other families. What is the maximum amount of treats I should have. I mean how many kids do I need to treat, I am very generous person and I love kids, but still I want an Idea. Please help.
