Are there any health problems that a mother can feel due to cluster feeding?

When my sister delivered a baby boy we noticed that the baby used to be breast fed for long hours, like 2 to 3 hours and sometimes he fell asleep while drinking the milk. When we asked the personal health provider he said that these kinds of babies are very demanding and when a mother feeds her baby for so long it is known as cluster feeding. What I want to know is the reason for which some babies are like this. I am also expecting a baby and how can I know that my baby is also demanding? Is there any danger to the health of mother because of cluster feeding?

First of all, let me congratulate you, really happy to hear this news. During the first few weeks, it's usual for baby to be a slight drowsy. It is recommended to propose to nurture newborn babies at slightest each two hours all through the day, and at least a pair times through the nighttime (every 3 hrs or so). This might signify you have to awaken baby to nurture, but by nurturing each pair of hours you are thought-provoking your milk contribute and ensure your baby is receiving sufficient milk.

It is ordinary for babies to do, what is called cluster feeding. Baby might nurture every 2 - 3 hrs through the day hours, but through the sunset hours, start to desire to nurture "hourly" for numerous hours in a row. These occasionally confuse moms and they start to imagine their supply is little, or so as to their milk isn't fulfilling baby. This is just baby's approach of "stocking up" for a longer extends of nap in the night hours.

Occasionally a baby's "picky instance" will co-inside with cluster feeding, and this too, can be very perplexing for mom. Never be worried about these things as it is considered normal.
