The way you hold your newborn in the initial few months can have an effect on his sleeping and crying habits, says a study conducted by University of London.
The study concluded that parents who hold and soothe their baby, as and when he cries help keeping their baby calmer and have a rather sound sleep during night in comparison to those babies who are held less by the parents.
Therefore, if your baby does not have a sound sleep during night and cries a lot, then you need to have a check on the time you spend with your baby keeping him close to you.
