homemade costumes for kids?

my 7 year old daughter is going to participate in her school costume competition and everyone have to wear homemade costume and this competition is not only for students but their parents will also participate as they have to make costume. i want my baby and i to win this competition and i was thinking something about angles costume so give me some ideas for homemade costume for kids?

Well, my daughter is also in kindergarten. And i love to dress her like a princess as she is my little princess. I can help you with homemade costumes for kids. I can help you in making your daughter look like a wonderful princess. Here is what you can do to make homemade princess costume. The stuff you will need to make it are frilly dress in white or cream or pink whatever color your princess likes. And ofcourse there should be a tiara. Also white tights, white dress shoes, simple make-up, stuffed frog or any animal which your girl likes. Now dress your princess in the dress, tights, and shoes. Curl her hair if desired, and do her a nice princess looking hairstyle. Place tiara on her head, making sure it is comfortably sitting on her head. Add a touch of blush and lipstick to give her a rosy glow will make her really feel the part and give her extra sparkle. Have her carry a stuffed animal, and watch her mesmerize the whole school. There are also other home made costumes for kids like rapunzel costume, funny monster, bunny costume, fairy or angel costumes etc. There is so much that you can choose from. You can also go to sites like crafts.kaboose, familyfun.go, marthastewart, costume-works etc. They will give you fair idea on homemade costumes for kids.
