how to make rabbit costume?

making costume for kids is really a challenging thing to do. my child is going to celebrate environmental day in his school and his mam assign her homework to wear rabbit costume dress. i don't want to waste money so can anyone tell me how to make it from your own. and which one is cheap buying from shop or making from your own?

How to make Rabbit costume

Preparing bunny or rabbit costume for the baby at home not only gives a feeling of joy but at the same time it easy to make .The dress has to be divided into three parts
1. white sweat suit
2. ears.
3. puffy tail
The other things need to be ready with are glue, scissors, white pom pom ,pink felt, white sneakers , gloves ,stapler ,2 paper plates, pink colored paper and a paper punch hole.

First comes the body section
The pink felt has to be cut out into oval shape which will cover front section of the white sweat shirt.Then apply hot glue on the front section of the sweatshirt and leave it to dry in sun for few hours. Glue the white pom pom at the back of the sweat pant.

Second comes the paw

To make the pads of bunny paw the pink felt has to be cut out into pieces.It should fit the palm side of the gloves. then apply hot glue on it.White socks can also be used.The white sneakers will act as the back paws.

Lastly the head of the rabbit

One paper plate has to be cut out into halves. In order to make the ears of the rabbit costume, the pink paper has to be cut into half moon shapes.It has to be noticed that the pink paper is smaller than half of the paper plate .In the center of the paper plate the each half of the pink paper has to be glued. For final touch that is drawing the nose and whiskers crayon is to be used.

Ears has to be positioned before fixing .Openings has to be cut out to make eyes of the rabbit and a little triming has to be done to form cheeks. On the sides of the ears punch hole has to be made.A thin elastic band has to be tied up so that the mask sits on the head cozily.

Trying hand at home not only saves the pocket but also brings innovative ideas to mind.
