What is an ideal weight height chart for growing children?

I could never calculate the exact BMI for my 8 years old kid as I could do for myself, and even my husband. Moreover, I have noticed that my child doesn’t look as overweight as it is shown on the chart. I had downloaded a weight and height chart from a website on my Android to calculate the growth of my child, but it shows a remarkable fluctuation. Although I know that children tend to grow and even lose weight rapidly, therefore, I am not able to decide what is an ideal weight height chart for children, which could explain the proper calculations of my child’s growth. Can some health and fitness expert please advice appropriately?

Kids' development is a concern of every parent. But to be very frank, there are height-weight calculators, but I do not find them genuine. Unless they have a natural growth problem, it hardly matters about how short and tall your kids appear to be. Many parents usually keep comparing their children‘s heights to different children of similar age. They have this doubt about their children as will they be too tall? Will they be too short? Or will they be normal enough? These are certain thoughts that usually makes most of the parents sick about their child. Now when it comes to height calculator. It gives you number to think about, but the results are yet not that easy to analyse. It is a natural thing, growth is a natural process, you cannot measure a natural processing with some hand made pathetic object. Still parents do it, and many get frustrated of no improvement. So, I’d recommend you to not to go for this sort of thing. Thank you.
