Is there any way to increase mens sexual health?

I don’t know what is wrong with me but my wife is not able to conceive baby. Maybe there is some problem in the way we are trying or there is something which I should care of. First I think it is important to increase my sexual health as a healthy sex is easiest way if we want babies. So tell me that, is there any way to increase mens sexual health?

In the male, after fifty years is a progressive decline of the male hormone (testosterone). When this drop is excessive resulting in a number of problems (decreased sexual activity and erection, fatigue, irritability, osteoporosis, etc. ..) which seriously affect the quality of life.

This excessive testosterone deficiency occurs in one in ten men over fifty years and can be treated properly.

What is meant by male sexual health?

With age, the male produced a series of changes in your hormones, in your prostate and in your body that affect their health and quality of life. For the World Health Organization, sexual health is a state of physical wellbeing, mental and social referring to sexuality.

In Uro-Andrological Institute understand that male sexual health (prostate - decreased sexual activity - hormonal and bodily changes) are not only a health issue but also a problem of "quality of life" and have a specialized unit in the "comprehensive study of man" more than fifty years.

What clinical manifestations may appear in this stage of life?

The two most common symptoms are:

Descent of desire and sexual activity, particularly of nocturnal erections.

Decreased quality of erection (rigidity).

Accompanying these two major symptoms may appear or not, one of the following events:

tendency to physical exhaustion and / or intellectual

mood disorder with a tendency to depression and moodiness
decreased muscle mass and strength
decrease in body hair and skin changes
loss of bone density with increased risk of osteoporosis and fractures
increase in visceral fat with abdominal obesity

Simultaneously, after forty-five, is a progressive growth of the prostate that sometimes forced to go to the bathroom and urinate more difficulties (see section diseases of the prostate).

The decline in sexual activity and growth of the prostate are related and seriously affect the health and quality of life. It is therefore important to have a "comprehensive study" by a uro-andrologist with adequate training and experience in this field.

Why this decline occurs excessive sexual activity?

Occurs primarily by a deficiency in the production of male hormone (testosterone). Testosterone is essential to keep sexual activity, erection, physical and intellectual vigor, bone mineralization, muscle mass, etc ...

Testosterone is produced in the testes, and these are governed by two glands that are in the brain (the hypothalamus and pituitary gland). An excessive deficit in testosterone may be due to problems in the testicles or hypothalamus-pituitary system.

In addition, with age may be a decline in growth hormone and melatonin that accentuate the negative effects of testosterone deficiency.

How can diagnose excessive testosterone deficiency?

Diagnosis is not easy because with age are chronic diseases (diabetes, cardiovascular problems, tendency to fatigue and depression, etc) that overlap with symptoms of lower testosterone. In fact, many men with testosterone deficiency attribute their sexual problems and other chronic fatigue and do not consult with the appropriate professional.

In Uro-Andrological Institute offer a comprehensive study of male health. There are questionnaires that help in the diagnosis, but a good history by an experienced uro-andrologist is the best tool to diagnose testosterone deficiency. This history should be supplemented by an exploration.

The clinical suspicion of a testosterone deficiency should be confirmed by a blood test which determines the exact amount of bioavailable testosterone. The number of total testosterone does not work, what really matters is the bioavailable testosterone, which is what really works.
