President of India, APJ Abdul Kalam is keen on inculcating the spirit of being entrepreneurship among the children f the country. He wants the Indian kids to grow up into employment providers rather than employment seekers as in the earlier times.
This suggestion came after he heard the goals and aspirations of kids from various states in the country, and the result concluded that very few kids wanted to become employment providers or entrepreneurs. This seems to be the result of the notion of ‘serving others’ that is usually fused into an average kid’s mind in India. Most of the parents make him grow under an aspiration to grow up and get respectable job in a good company and take a fixed salary sans any risk, as in the business.
“We need such entrepreneurs in large numbers in our country for developing and transforming our village clusters into sustainable economic units,” said the President. It is indeed a great realization, which if put to practicality will change the facet of the country and turn it towards the track of sustained and continuous financial progress, like the other developed nations.
