I really wish that your child gets well soon. There is a website from where I have searched about the dosage of benadryl for babies. This site is called babyzone.  I can help you with the dosage but I would still recommend you to take advice from doctor because this site clearly suggests to take doctor's advice for children below two years old. As far as dosage are concerned, for the two year old, the dosage is 3/4 tsp of benadryl allergy liquid, also 3/4 tsp of benadryl dye-free allergy liquid and 3/4 tab of benadryl allergy chewables. There are so many side effects of benadryl like allergic reaction like difficulty in breathing, closing of your throat, swelling of your lips, tongue or face or hives. So, I would suggest you not to take any chances with your child and take him to the doctor as soon as possible. There are many websites that you can visit for advice for infant benadryl dosage like babyzone, askdrsears, babble, drugs, stlouischildrens, etc. Good wishes for your child and have a nice time ahead in life!
