Infant earrings For a new born!

Is it ok for the infant to have a piercing? She is so tiny and adorable and delicate. I don’t want her to feel anything but love. I am too scared to even touch her. But my niece has been given earrings by my mum and mom wants her to wear them soon. My sister and I are both disagreeing at the moment. Are we just getting worked up over nothing? Could you tell if it is safe for infant earrings to be worn by the baby.

If you really want to do the piercing do it under the guidance of an expert or allow your doctor to do the piercing. Use a gold earring for piercing. Wipe a little amount of alcohol on your baby’s ear during piercing. After piercing don’t remove the earrings for at least 6 months. Once in a day twist the earrings. Some people believe that it can protect your child from evil spirits may be that is the reason why your mother want that your daughter wear it. Piercing is very common in various traditions. Like in Spain, tribes of Africa, South America and in Latin America it is very common tradition. Apart from these areas other countries also follow this tradition. So now it is globalized you can say!!
