What are the myths about only children?

I read a whole article on the myth about only children but till now I don’t understand what it is. I want to know is this a kind of community for the kids who are the only one in their family or it’s something else to do with. I am 13 year old and I am the only child of my parents. Sometimes I feel that there is no one to play with me. I feel very helpless and bored. So I want to know if this is a kind of community which has been made to take the loneliness of kids then how can I join it? Also tell me what is the myth of the only children?

It is very bad for having a single child in a family. For financial point of view, only the child will get the benefit from this concept. Because the child is the only contender of the family financial resources. However, if you look at the another side of the life, then you will see that the child is less fortunate regarding to the personal happiness. Generally, the only child becomes selfish and arrogant after constant fighting with loneliness. Even, this dangerous fight will make the character of the only child vulnerable. Moreover, the only brilliant child may get frequent emotional disturbance in his or her life. It is very dangerous for any marriage life. One point to tell you, that the only child of a family is very much prone to committing suicide. Sometimes, we saw that this child may develop the bipolar disorder and erratic personality. Another thing you have to remember, that the only child always likes to get more attention in any social event or any family event. Basically, the only child is very much emotional. For the parents' point of view, if the only child lost due to death, then the situation of his or her parents becomes pathetic. Their life becomes a burden to each other. For this reason, many parents commit suicide due to the death of their single child. For solving this dangerous problem of our modern society, we should adopt the concept of 'Two Children' in a family. At least, if one child is lost, then another child will work as a protector.
