Need expert advice from the mothers on baby care?

Hi, I have just given birth to a baby boy and need some expert advice from already moms on baby care. I have purchased various health products needed for the baby care from johnson & johnson but don't know what all to use regularly and how to apply them on baby's soft skin. Can you guide me how to massage my baby with the baby oil and how many times in a day and should I start using baby cream and powder on his skin ? My baby is just 1 week old and I don't want to experiment on the sensitive skin of my baby. Help me please.

Skin of babies are conventionally way too soft. To massage ababy, you need to do few steps. Find aposition that is comfortable for both of you. Be aware of your back. Eithercradle the baby on a pillow on your lap or position your baby on a towel orblanket in front of you. When having their backs stroked, young babies love tobe held against your chest. Have massage oil handy. Take offany jewelry that may scratch the baby's soft skin. Undress the baby. Eitherleave on a onside or a diaper or strip the baby down to his or her birthdaysuit. Be aware of room temperature. Relax as the baby willfeel any tension in your body through your hands. Swish the massage oil in yourhands to give the baby a cue that you are ready to begin.Talk to your babywhile massaging. It is an interaction. Listen to your baby talk back to you. The best time to massage your baby is during the baby's"quiet, alert" state.
