I suggest you to go with Chocolate Zucchini cake for your kids. Collect one cup brown sugar and vanilla extract, one and half cup sugar, butter, buttermilk, oil, three eggs, half tbsp allspice, cinnamon, salt, two and half cups all purpose flour, quarter cup cocoa, two tbsp baking soda, one and half cups grated zucchini and single cup chocolate chips. Procedure to make, start with mixing cream together with sugars, oil and butter after heating up the oven to 325 degrees, then add eggs, vanilla extract and buttermilk and stir well to mix. Now in a bowl, mix flour, cocoa, baking soda, allspice, cinnamon and salt together, stir egg mixture into the flour mixture until it combined well, then fold in the chocolate chips and grated zucchini. At last what you do is turn batter into two greased and floured in baking pan. Let cool and then frost after 30 minutes baking and serve with love and care. You can also try Chocolate Mud Cake, Chocolate Birthday cake and Princess cake for your kids.
