From Non-Organic to Organic Meat, why?

What is organic meat and what is the advantage of eating it. Can it be eaten during pregnancy? Is it safe? Is organic food good for the whole family? I want to know everything about organic food. How good is eating it. What is the difference between organic and non-organic? My family has always non-organic foods and has survived perfectly fine and is very healthy. Why should we switch to organic foods now? Would sudden switching change our appetite and make us loose or gain more weight.
