What does one do in parenting classes?

My husband and I are planning on going to parenting classes, but before we take this step we want to what it is all about. What can you give us your opinions if you have been for parenting classes? My husband wants to know if it is really necessary for both parents to go, does it always help? Do you have one couple per class or are there a number of couples. You can take help from other people who are there too, right?

For sure parenting classes help you to take care your baby in a better sense. Positive parenting means using warmth, love, respect, consistency, good communication and empathy in the way you behave with your child. These classes give advice and information on bringing up children in which they tell you how to handle a baby in his/ her different ages. What problems a child can face and how can you over come those problems with love. These classes also advice you about schools and education of you baby in future. No its not compulsory for you husband to join these classes with you however if he join these classes it will be great because even father plays a important role in his children’s life, so if possible then do take your husband with you to parenting classes and plan your Child's future with mutual understanding.
