Getting pregnant while breastfeeding?

I don’t know whether you could get pregnant while breastfeeding. I have been reading websites and some of them say you have only a two percent chance of getting pregnant and others state that maybe you can get pregnant. So, my question is, does anyone know or has experienced getting pregnant while breastfeeding?

I can understand that many doubts related to pregnancy get hold on the mind. I would like to share with you a fact that it is quite common that women become pregnant while breastfeeding. Although it was a belief that breast feeding prevent pregnancy, but this won’t hold true in every case. An amazing fact is that sometimes women get pregnant purposefully to continue the breastfeeding relationship. I would like to share the fact that if you become pregnant while breastfeeding, then it is not at all necessary that it will wean your baby. You must know that breastfeeding during pregnancy will result in uterine contractions that are experienced regularly throughout pregnancy. It won’t necessarily increase your risk of miscarriage. You need to have healthy diet as you will need extra rest and will probably feel more fatigued if you continue breastfeeding during pregnancy. You may find your nipples to get more tender than normal. It would be great to switch your baby's position to alleviate this discomfort. Make sure that you proceed gradually. I will seriously recommend that you consult a doctor before making the final decision. Take care.
