Very sorry to hear that your pregnancy had resulted into a miscarriage. Though, I have not faced such things but I did some research after seeing your question on this subject. From the research, it came out that there are several reasons for miscarriages. You have not mentioned about which stage of pregnancy this miscarriage of yours had occurred? If it was within first three months of your pregnancy, then most probably a chromosomal anomaly could have been the cause of it. This chromosomal anomaly, usually is caused when the cervix is incompetent to bear the child for final stages. Even after this kind of miscarriages the doctors often do not carry out large amount of tests on the patient. They just give consent to the couple to go for a second try. So, why are you getting so upset about it? I can understand your pain and suffering but do not get demoralized. There is no need for any kind of consolation from anybody. You can try for conceiving a baby again. A first miscarriage often can not result into a second one. All you have to do is to carry out few tests to see if you are ovulating regularly or your partner/husband is having a regular sperm count. If these tests are normal then go for a laparoscopic check on the fallopian tubes of the uterus. Even if these tests are normal, and you still can not get pregnant the doctors usually refer this condition as Unexplained Infertility and often suggests to go for a laboratory based In Vitro Fertilization (IVF). You can also install fertility monitor to check when you are ovulating quite good and start making preparations for babies at that time. Doctors suggest if you are ovulating fine please try to make love 2-3 times a week to get conceived. So go ahead, there are plenty of chances for you to get pregnant again and do it without the fear of losing the baby for the second time. But, do consult a good physician for his expert opinions.
