Best push gift for my wife?

I wonder who came out with this idea of a push gift. My wife is about to give birth to our darling daughter. What do you suggest I get her as a push gift? I never knew such a gift existed. I couldn’t beyond belief imagine what it must be like to carry a child in you for 9 months. Do I get her something major or something small? I was thinking of getting a personalized pendant in the shape of a cradle, is that not adorable? do tell me when i should give this gift, before or after on the day of the delivery.
