What is the recipe for baking soft sugar cookie?

I am thirty year old woman and I am planning to call all of my school friends for lunch. I miss them so much as I have shared so many memories with them. It was a long time since we were planning to hold this small get together. For tea, I am planning to make some nice soft sugar cookie. But then, I have lost the recipe for making soft sugar cookie. Since I want to make it again, where can I get the recipe for making soft sugar cookie?

There are so many sites where you can get the recipes. Websites like allrecipes, simplyrecipes, grouprecipes, foodnetwork, foods, cooks, myrecipes, etc to know about various recipes of soft sugar cookie. Here is the recipe which I use to prepare it. It goes like this. The ingredients required are cup of sugar, butter, vanilla and almond extract, eggs, flour ( 2 cups ), salt, tartar cream, baking soda. For frosting the ingredients are butter, confectioners' sugar, hot water, almond extract and food coloring. Now in large bowl combine all the ingredients for preparing the cookies. Gradually mix all the ingredients. Now in the baking sheet put the mixture with help of the spoon. Bake for 12 mins or until the cookies are light brown. Then cool off the cookies. Now for frosting mix all the ingredients for frosting in the large mixing bowl. Add enough water to achieve the required consistency. Now frost the cookies with this frosting.
