How to have safe sex?

I am here to ask you a question about safe sex. I am in deep relationship with my girlfriend and we are planning to have sex on this weekend. But my girlfriend is quite adventurous and she is saying that she does not want to have sex by using condom as she has a perception that it can decrease the enjoyment. So can anybody tell me various methods to have safe sex?

Using condoms is highly recommended if you want to enjoy safe sex. It is a myth that condoms can decrease the enjoyment. In fact, it is proven that condoms do not hinder or hamper intercourse in any way. It is true that there are other methods to prevent pregnancy, but condoms are foolproof in preventing sexually transmitted diseases (STD) and HIV.

There are other forms of contraceptives that you can use to prevent pregnancy. Your girlfriend can choose to take oral contraceptives that will prevent pregnancy. However, keep in mind that she will need to consult a doctor before taking any kind of oral medication. many oral contraceptives may contain steroids and other harmful chemicals. Oral contraceptives can not protect you two against sexually transmitted diseases or HIV virus.

If you have had unprotected sex, you can choose to have the morning - after pill (also known as the emergency contraceptive pill). These pills can effectively prevent pregnancy when taken up to 72 hours after the intercourse. These pills are available over the counter. You must remember that these pills will not work effectively if taken in the place of a regular oral contraceptive. These pills are also incompetent in protecting against STDs.

It is believed by many that the withdrawal process (drawing out before you eject) ensures that pregnancy will not occur. This is in fact a myth. A woman can get pregnant even if her partner does not eject while he is inside her.

Remember that other than complete abstinence, there is not such method that will guarantee a 100 percent safe sex. Use of condoms reduces the risks for both the partners involved and protects against pregnancy as well as STD. It is therefore highly recommended that you use condoms as a safe sex measure.
