Sagem gets cute and cuddly with My411C

sagems my411c
Things are changing fast in the tech savvy world and they are sometimes changing at a pace that leaves you wondering if you lived on the same planet just a few years back. I suppose with each generation passing, lifestyle is only getting more and more centered around modern gadgets. It was not too long ago that seeing a cell phone being carried around by someone used to make heads turn. Now even school going kids sport one and it probably has become more a thing of necessity than luxury. So Sagem, a French mobile company has decided to custom design mobiles for kids.

Now before people right them off completely and say that it is a useless venture let me tell you that Sagem was my first cell phone. From first hand experience I can tell you that the company makes some excellent cell phones which are not the most glamorous but are equipped with some good, common sense features. I found them better in both handling and durability than most Nokia phones that my buddies use and that is in fact saying a lot. Anyway now company Sagem has teamed up with fashion designer Lulu Castagnette to create these My411C model phones, which are being targeted to kids and women.

The phones port a cute teddy bear and look very simple. They also have a nice simple design and nothing looks too complicated. I know plenty of girls who would go “Ahhh…” at the teddy bear design, so I suppose it connects at some level. But if it specifically designed for kids, then I surely hope that the environmental standards on this phone are pretty high. If they have taken care of that aspect, then it probably has a good chance of making it in the competitive cell phone market.
