Which are the best summer activities for kids?

My kids would have their summer holidays soon. They have holiday homework sadly. I do not want them to keep working on the homework. How can I make their summer holidays more interesting and fun? Could you tell me how can I find out about summer camps and would that be fun for a nine year old boy and seven year old girl? Where can we guys go? My son wants to learn the guitar. But then he would be home bound. I want them to be active.

Kids are always fond ofcreativeness in terms of art & craft and plays. Their imaginations areextraordinary and some are realistic too. Giving holiday homework at school isnatural one. Instead of making them academic wise, it is best to ask them toplay as a practical one and follow. Make them sit as a group along withtheir friends, ask them to arrange themselves and do their homework activitieswith fun by having games like dumb sarades, musical chair, snacking etc., Thefun activities varies from subjects and can be differed from day to day. Obviouslyscience subjects can have fun with practical, math subjects with practicalcounting etc.

Summer camps are good and theyprovide to learn additional activities and helpful for active, interestedchildren. With respect to music related summer camps,

The Rock Farm, Power Chord Academy, Long Lake Camp for the Arts,Westminster's College ExperienceCamps etc., is available in plenty. Every music related summer campsprovide varieties of instruments to be learnt in depth. By knowing about theinterest in the kids over an instrument, parents can make them to participateand actively involve their time towards that music instrument. For any timelearning should not be a force. Obviously working parents practice theseactivities and it is better that if they make it happen with friend’s circle sothat kids will find them more interesting as well.
