Thongs for Kids, At the age of 15?

My daughter is only 15 and I am strict against her wearing thongs at this age. She wants to wear it but and she has been arguing with me for the past couple of days. I stopped her allowances for this reason for the moment. I don’t want her be behaving the way she does. They show their thongs around, at least part of it, and that is very indecent. So do you think that I should be allowing thongs for kids?
