What is best time to get pregnant?

Hey I am trying to conceive baby after 3 years of my happily married life. I have discussed this with one of my friend and she says that there is a specific time in which there is more chances to get pregnant. She is not that much frank with me so that is why may be she is not able to explain it with me fully. So I want you people to tell me that what is best time to get pregnant?

Hello madam, the best time to get pregnant is the period of ovulation in your menstrual cycle. This is the time when following an LH( Luteinizing Hormone) surge , a mature ovum is released into the uterus from the follicles. This egg or ovum is ready to be fertilized and stays or survives for about 12 hours after which it starts degenerating. Therefore calculation of this ovulation period is very a important thing. To do this, figure out first when your next period is due. From the date, count back 12 to 16 days. This will give you a range of dates when you will probably be ovulating. In normal case, for woman with a 28 day cycle the 14th day is the best day to get pregnant. Sometimes this kind of calculations seems complicated to women. So several OPK or Ovulation Predictor Kits are found in the market which do this work for ladies quite accurately. Moreover, there are fertility monitors which also do this work if couple wants to get pregnant faster. But madam, whatever you do , you and your husband must make love very often to get pregnant. You people atleast have to have sex thrice in a week for getting pregnant. Another thing is that, there is a time frame or window that exists before ovulation . So if you and your husband have sex two three days before ovulation period the chance for getting pregnant becomes higher. Sperm from your partner survives longer than the egg. Thanks for listening. Good luck.
