Which are the best blogs for mommies?

Which are the best blogs available for mommies? Name the top please? I need it for some work and I need to know fast. What do blogs for moms normally have on them, as in what information is posted on these blogs. Do people post real their experiences with adoption, or miscarriages or different side effects of various medicines? Can you get answers to the millions of questions asked by parents for whatever reason? Does it give support to a parent who has just lost their kid, or the kid is suffering or is just a tantrum thrower? Is it a good thing to have a mommy blog?

There are various blogs and websites that address pregnancy and motherhood. As with most web content relating to health matters, it is important to verify the source and the veracity of the information being put out.

Blogs and websites usually address categories of information, such as pregnancy, childbirth, infant care, toddler care, preschooler care, etc. There are niche blogs that cater to specific concerns such as working mothers, losses and grief, adoption.

Here are three blogs that meet all the expectations and questions that one may have of mommy blogs.

Growing out of one of the most vibrant communities of lifehackers, Parenthacks is an ideas and solutions center that has an useful dropdown menu of categories to choose from. There is a search option that lets you ask your questions and offers answers.

Lisa Belkin's blog at New York Times, Motherlode, has been consistently rated as among the best blogs for mommies and is one that seems to answer most of your questions.

The information at Babycenter is largely professionally vetted and, therefore, more reliable than other blogs where the claim to expertise is just one's personal experience as a mother. Babycenter also has an extensive community of users who share inputs and offer support for issues such as miscarriages, loss, adoption, etc.

An useful place to find good mommy blogs is in the link libraries (or blogrolls) on established parenting blogs like those mentioned above.
